When I started BiblePay back in 2017, I saw money pouring into the cryptocurrency space and very high energy being consumed by mining.  I envisioned a cryptocurrency being able to tithe 10% of those chain emissions toward orphan-charity, what a high impact that would make in the world for orphans.  I imagined a deflationary reward (a plus for investors) that could potentially spark a revolution creating a sustainable coin.  Additionally, I imagined ordinary Christians receiving a hedge against inflation (offsetting the effects of money printed by central banks) by gaining cryptocurrency exposure.  I've always been passionate about alternative energy, and I knew that BiblePay could make a difference in that area.  I wanted biblepay to make inroads with corporate developers, with cutting edge algorithms (executing blockchain code from other programming languages).  And ultimately, attracting millions of non Christians to the blockchain exposing them to the gospel of Jesus Christ by building 'modules' that help provide tools for Evangelists.

What is BiblePay?

BiblePay is an international decentralized autonomous organization that funds charities (through masternode governance voting decisions), with dual merge mined proof-of-work rewards (and a very low carbon footprint due to our RandomX-BBP merge mining algorithm running on commodity PCs).

We tithe 10% of our blockchain emissions to orphan charity, and our emission schedule is deflationary (reduced by 18% per year) meaning we are investor friendly. Our wallet includes Christian Retirement account features (UTXO staking), NFTs, Videos, and a sidechain (with anti-censorship, pro-freedom features).

We are proud to spread the Gospel of Jesus globally to cryptocurrency enthusiasts and we are committed to building out a Gospel Front End system that helps extend God's Kingdom.

Statement from the Founder, Rob Andrews
