Welcome to BiblePay!

To mine with Nomp, you may choose one of these paths:

Easy - The pool supplies the ABN

With the easy setup (also called Turnkey, or pool-funded), you can start immediately, but your profit will be 50% less. This is because you will be borrowing the ABN from another miner.

To get started, launch bbpminer with the following configuration: ./bbpminer -ostratum+tcp:3008 --user:your_bbp_wallet_address

Hard - You supply the ABN

With the hard setup (called self-funded mining), you supply your own ABN. Meaning your wallet has sufficient funds to create an ABN. In this mode, you will make approximately 50% more profit because you will be lending the ABN out to the pool.

Step 1: Create a worker at pool.biblepay.org with a name matching your BBP receiving address that you use in NOMP for mining.

Step 2: Set up BBP-classic pool mining in your controller wallet. Add pool=https://pool.biblepay.org and add your workerid=bbp_receive_address to the configuration file.
Step 3: Leave your controller wallet running, with the wallet unlocked (so the node can create ABNs), and leave it in pool mining mode against pool.biblepay.org on one thread. You can type getmininginfo to ensure the miner is running.
Step 4: Point all of your external miners to Nomp, using the 'Easy setup' instructions above, but ensure the bbp receive address (username) matches the bbp-classic worker name (in step 2).
Step 5: Verify the shares you solve in NOMP are doubled. This will be explained ASAP (by looking at the multiplier).

Troubleshooting

Note: The Nomp pool will automatically detect if your miner is in Easy mode or Hard mode during each share submission.

If the Nomp pool finds that your miner is self-funded (hard), during the time of the share submission, it will award (2) shares.

Otherwise, the nomp pool will award (1) share for the (easy) setup.
